If he plays with the cat a lot, then antihistamine, since he can't avoid the cat.
right?

its not his cat so, he's not forced to encounter it, i'd say avoid. (i think even smaller kids if you tell them, "hey dont do that you'll get a big boo-boo", i think they are scared and dont do it anymore?)

What if the question said it's his cat?
Would the answer be the same: avoid the cat, or get rid of the cat, or prescribe antihistamines?

I would choose use antihistamines, maybe because I have a catsmiling face

I think the point behind gogeta's question was that if you have one allergic dz it increases the risk of other ..example may increase risk of asthma or increase the risk of allergic rhinitis...there for the best thing to do would just avoid cat. avoid getting the allergies.confused (The exam wants you to be cheap...so they can brag how they charged us alot to take these test.. no meds....)
