hai all..........i have done all kaplan books twice and goljan RR twice..........now i am doing kaplan blocks(off line)--- i am able to get from 28 to 32 per block of 50 questions.........i am not satisfied... i am marking wrong a lot of straight forward bits. is my memory weak? or is it common to forget the usmle stuff frequently............i am getting soooo depressed when i find myself unable to recollect simple drug mechanism of actions, side effects... enzyme names.... path stuff etc etc.......... i am gonna subscribe USMLE WORLD in june........will that help me to retain this stuff? i must and shud give my exam in july....pls advice me.....(i need some support) bye. best of luck for every one.

hey
there r two part of preparation,,first part is to study lecture notes and retain as much as u can,so keep on revising ur books till u feel that now u r retaining them specially pharma patho micro bc these 3 subject there are alot of learning stuff,,,rest of subject like biochem physio anatomy if u read u can retain alot of stuff...so for studying part i think revise as many time as much u can till ur exam date
now second part of preparation is how u apply ur knowledge on mcqs, this is good if u r noticing ur mistake and try to over come ur mistake with more and more practise, believe me u will do these mistake on real exam only tihngs matters is to practise as much that u do lesser mistake on real exam for those question which u can correct.anothe things about mcqs is try to understand and practise to corelate question with ur knowledge in mind in one minute time frame,,
best of luck
