thank you for the reply Robin. I am planning to take the steps soon.. but I heard that it takes quite a long time to get accepted for the cal letter. So I am applying for the letter now. How long exactly does it take to get accepted? and once I get the letter and the step scores, how long does it take to get PTAL? What is the difference between "medical licensure for a graduate of an international medical school" and "PTAL". To apply for "medical licensure for graduate of an international.." requires ECFMG certificate/status letter, and for "PTAL" requires step1,2CK scores... I am confused...
