Hello Everybodysmiling face

Am planning to give my step1 exam next year in june! I hope am not asking one of the "repeated questions" that all staters usually do! raised eyebrow grin But i needed to know which year materials should i read! I mean is it enough if i follow 2007 materials or would 2008 updated materials be asked next year??? If so what time of the year is it usually released? If anyone has the answers PLZ do guide before i start off with my preparationsmiling face

I took my exams over 2006-2007 and l my materials were from 2004 so i think u should be fine with 2007 material, but wait for more people to reply...

Which book excatly u r asking about, so many st 1 books .

If FA .. u should buy at yr end , but on the other hand , if u like to start all with FA side by side like some of us, u can get 2008 FA now then not write much on there instead write on note sheet , so by yr end when u see 2009 Fa out , in case u have to get 2009 Fa if alot different & better like 2008 better tahn 2007 then u will not have to copy , transfer ur notes fr old 2008 Fa to newer 2009 .
Same for any other books too if u cannot get latest books yet .

Latest is good , but some r not much different depends .

Hope that give u what to do & start ur prep asap with books u already have . But if just to collect all, better get latest especially u plan for next yr exm , buy one after another iwth latest yr issue one so will not have to re read latest in case come up in yr end or early next yr .

Most of the books have their own time frame of new one out, book store usually know that if the expert staff u can talk to.
Like FA is out in usually yr end .. as early as Oct , Nov , but sometime Dec etc .

2007 vs 2008 , if not get any .. latest is better smiling face

GL nod
