i'm ready to pull my hair out....i'm doing more poorly on my CK UW ques than my step 1...does anyone find CK harder than step 1 or is it jus me?? is the UW harder, easier or the same as the actual exam?? 
right now, I just feel like tearin up my books n' throwin them into a fire....or meetin up w/ an mle exam writer n' wringing his neck....no, no.....no need to put a restraining order on me, I jus gotta get this anger out....
on every question I alwayz get down to choosing between two options, I usually can rule out all the other answers.....n' if I pick one, the correct answer ends up actually bein the other....this happened so many times that I started actually picking the opposite answer of what I think I would choose but what happens?!! i still get it wrong, n' the correct answer turns out to be the one that I was actually choosing if I hadn't tried to pick the "opposite answer"....how frustrating is that?!! aaaahhhh!!!! does anyone get me?
am I the only mad n' crazy one here? need some mental support...

Though I found the syllabus of step 2 ck more interesting than step 1, I used to score persistently less in UW of CK. In fact when I started off there was a time I got stuck at 50 and no matter what I did the score would not budge.
But even though my average score remained less than what I used to score in step 1 UW i scored more in the actual exam.
So do some deep breathing and get back to practicing, u'll score fine in the exam..all the very best

I am in the same boat with u.My UW scores are horrible.I felt so discouraged yesterday i nearly broke down in tears(managed not to though).
But hey i believe we shd just continue trying.We'll get there.

hey toolazytostudy i felt exactly like you only a few weeks ago, started out with scores as low as 45% or so on uw.
and now...just took nmbe3 and got a puzzling 680. no idea how, though. so i'm sure you'll greatly improve a few days from now

hey lazy, breathe first and foremost!! hehehe.. we ll go thru this phase, just learn the small details why it was the answer and not the one u chose.. so at least ur getting there, selecting it down to 2 choices, now just the minor, minor details.. i still suggest if u have the time, do the dvd's, i know they are boring dear, but u will be forever grateful, bc they are so filled with those details that the books dont point out, and u know it's easier sometimes to recall something when someone is telling u the materials?? aka, listen to dr. fischer, he will make certain things stick in ur head!!!
i hope that helps, and it's ok to just breakdown like that girl, i've done it many, many, manyyyyy times, hehehe.. but it will make u stronger, dont focus so much on % u are still doing first review rite, so it wont be so high.. dont worry, just review, review and learn the concepts first before u panic about ur scores.. if after learning concepts u aren't happy, then complain, hehehe.. just joking!!

yup hottie, yup, yup....i'm actually watching conrad's videos, but only 2 a day coz i quickly lose concentration, then the rest of the day i do ques or read....oh n' i got secrets!!

YES!! ur well on ur way my friend.. just be patient and absorb wat u can from the vids.. they will teach u a lot and then some!! hehehe... well good luck with it, keep at it, and just take breaks when u feel frustrated bc then ur just not into it (i feel i was never into step 1 stuff, hahahaha.. we shall find out soon!)
oh and im so tired of all the random buffoons who find it funny to be just claiming as if i'm the meanest person on this forum, faaaaaaaaaaaaar from truth.. ppl are just crazy i think, no?? wat say toolaaaa-zay?? hahaha... sorry had to vent, i guess i shold go to rant thread, but that's part of the problem, hahahahahah..

uw is a learning tool and is harder than the real test, don't evaluate yourself with it! Read all the answers, they are very precious.

step 2 was a virtual hell for me too.. two options kept haunting alwayz and in most cases i ended up picking the wrong one..... i panicked to the extent of 'falling ill' a day before the exam and rescheduled it... !! even the actual exam went by like a daze.. not knowing how i fared... its all about keping your cool.. i did manage to score well despite of not doing up tomy expectaion in the UW and NBME tests...dont worry toolazy3study..,u will do fine...

Hi everybody,
I do a mixture of good and bad scores on UW. Sometimes I´m surprised about a good score, sometimes a score like 50 throws me off.
I just keep telling myself, that UW is not a predictor and I keep going. Means that, I try not to get too caught up in a bad score and keep going on with the next block. I always do the review though! Very important!
My Step 2 CK is in 3 weeks. Not much time left, but we gotta keep swimming, just like my friend Arlete said before!
