i just read in lippin biochem and i believe answer should be A- increased ADP. (ADP stimulate conversion of isocitrate to alpha KG, in this step CO2 is produced and CO2 is also produced in next step.)

very good increase of ADP allosterically activate isocitrate dehydrogenase another q chemist wanting to lose weight ,obtained dinitrophenol .Before consults her physician and was informed DNP is dangerous. Which of the following changes would have ocurred in her mithocondria if she had ingested enough DPN a.- Ox comsumption would increase b.- CO2 production would decrease c.- the proton gradient would increase d.- NADH would be oxidized more rapidly e.- temperature decrease

Since its an uncoupling agent, oxygen consumption would increase, ATP synthesis stops, so A
