while watching kaplan videos the lecturer said most people with gonorrhea have also clamydia so either test for clamydia or add tetracyclin to the treatment of gonorrhea which is cephalosporins i though this is a bad combination one cidal and the other static " tetracyclin" any inputs?

maoudoody, the drugs of choice to treat gonorrhea and chlamydia infection are Ceftriaxone and Azyithromycin, respectively

ok azithromycin single dose one gram but the same situation here ceftriaxone bactericidal and azithro"macrolides" bacteriostatic
