I too am at a lost for this one....i was thinking of sending the marksheets for all the exams I gave during MBBS time since my medical school doesn't issue any final transcript......can anyone answer this or ask their college office what its all about??

hi,
transcript is summary of our course and scores...there is no fixed format.
some medical schools issue in their own pattern ..and in some ..we have to prepare and they will verify..
it is to be got from the medical school(college)...which is better than getting from university..to avoid delay in verification process..
i am giving eg for format...but this is not fixed rule..
1) clinical and nonclinical transcripts ..with ..say anatomy - period in which u did it - professor (HOD) under whom u worked
2) hours certificate...number of hours spent approx in each (say anat,physio,medicine) in lectures
3) exams with years , number of attempts, and marks in %
thats it...hope this helps

its true there's no fixed format for the final medical school transcript. You just have to ask it from the medical school and they'll prepare it for you. It contains details about your curriculum. Includes all different subjects studied and classes taken for them, total hours for each subject and year and the scores...
