LET ME SEE IF I MAKE SENSE. FIRST WE HAVE TO KNOW WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF ANURIA. IF THERE IS ANURIA U WILL SEE PATIENT CANNOT URINATE SO HOW MANNITOL IS GOING TO MAKE PT URINATE .IF THERE IS ANYTHER CAUSE.e.g. STRUCTRUAL DEFECTS ETC.WE HAVE INVESTIGATE THAT BEFORE DRUG ADMN.

hmm.....yeah actually i reread it..........it makes more sense now.....u basically give mannitol to prevent anuria in conditions like rhabdomylosis.... and i guess once anuria really sets in..there's not too much u can do.... plus i guess it does depend on the cause u know if its an anatomical cause u can't overcome it by giving mannitol...! thanks for ur help peekay! appreciate it.
