hello everyone, Am planning to give my exam in august ,am reading actually since last may ,but not that seriously, now i got uw last month scoring 44 to 57 % depends on the subject i am doin.i did anat ,beh, biostats, gentics, biochem, and now physio kaplan LN (2nd reading)and also did UW for the above subjects.still i have to do pharm ,micro ,immuno and path!!..am reading each and every questions with all the explanations and writing it down ,and its taking hell of time with my hand aching all through the night.should i just read the explanations without writing?and use the other time for goljan audios and main subjects like pharm and path?or should i just continue with wat i am doin..am confused..i don't know how will i be able to complete till august.plz help.

HI samreena, Everyone has their own study style and I guess u are the best judge of what suits u but now that ur asking I have the following suggestions: 1. doing UW subject wise in a way kills the purpose...doing timed random subject 50 question blocks are what u will be needed to do at the exam and its that what u need to practise (that is not to think subject wise)...once u finish the entire UW, for ur second revision u can go subject wise if u need.... 2. Making notes of everything in the explanation is bound to be tiring!. Maybe u should concentrate only on the stuff u dont know...and make points of those....most of the theory stuff is there in Kaplan ...just note down what isnt ...in fact when i try to write down everything i notice that my mind goes blank and i just mechanically keep copying! all the best

I havent done UW yet, so i dunno how that works.. But why do you need to actually write things down. cant you just copy and paste it in a document and print it later.. I am sorry, i dont know if you can copy when you use UW.

hey guys ,thanks for the reply. i know its very time consuming to write it down,i will see if i have any energy left after doin physio .its just for satisfaction purpose i was writing it down.and yea i tried taking pictures of the screen ,but a big flash was appearing ,so i clicked on settings and chose 'closeups' option .its a nice idea..but for 2000 questions an explanations,i dunno how long will it take. i still have to do pharm, path, and micro.........3 huge subjects..i actually read them like couple of months back.but didn't do it with UW.do u guyz have any idea ..how long it shud take me to finish it off... thnks.
