just received my ds 2019 and checked my personal info. my name's spelled correctly, birthday's right and all other info is correct but under the category of first name, they also put my middle name beside it. under the category of middle name was blank. should i worry about it and have it changed? need to leave by june 3 and the US embassy here in our country is booked for a week next week. Thanks!

don't worry about it....my DS2019 also contains this (the last name is written under family name and rest of my name "1st and middle" is written under first name and it's empty under the middle name and i already got my visa and everythin is all right...the most important thing is to have the right spelling and the right info (which u say u have)
so everything will be ok...

hey i have the same problem! i was so worried about it, thank God i read your posts now i know other people are in the same boat. i dunno why they did this to all of us maybe some bug in their program. in any case i did go for interview and the consular didnt ask about it just took my ds 2019 n sevis receipt. so i guess it shouldnt be a problem as long as the spelling are correct and at least the last name is correct! best of luck!
