hey guys > Hi to all , I am new to this forum. I graduated in 2003 and than did canadian exams cleared MCCEE, MCCQE1 and english exams . But now I am taking on American boards andt he first I took was step one. I studied at Kaplan, stdied for seven months, did uworld and kaplan q bank two times and appeared on the test. I planned to mark the question I was not 100 percent confident, in which most oft he time my score is 50% . I ended up marking 20 questiongs per block. I am scared to death now whats gono happen. Some questions very very easy, no double jump.. some were four jumps but those that was easy were really easy , I mean , I said what a joke but the very next question would ask me to think. there were many ethical questions and guys for canadian exams my strong point was ethis but here , even I got stuck on a few.. behaviour science questions were damn easy, sensitivity, specificity.. they woudnt go in to much detail. there were many anatomy pictures and anatomy is not my strong poing .. Goljan is the best for pathology like i listend to his lecture for the last two days I decided to lie in bed and listen to what he has to say and man it was all making sence in the exam , when he says ,, hey its on boards and you really find that in board , you are really enchanted . but there were alot of questions that were beyond my head.. I didnt waste much time on quesitons that I had no clue, just makred and guessed but those I could think i came back.
biochem pays you off man, they give it very easy , I had not single question which was tough but micro was tough ( at least for me) . physio only a couple of questions.
pharma > again not much but straigh forward , like easy guess.. waoo it seems like I am being too optimistic, let me tell you genetics they gave weired cases.. others alot of questions that I dont kremember and I know I did wrong. I am very anxious but has no time to relax, taking on canadian CE1 soon but man this waiting period sucks. I tried my level best to get 99 but I cant be sure if I passed the test. I will be happy with any thing over 85 but I dont know .Its just very very tough time to me..

good luck for your score but why you shift from the canadian exams to usmle

I didnt shift man , I have tried 2 years in canada and I coudnt get in , I am again taking CE1 ( Canadian clinical evaluation part one ) . This USMLE will also help me in canada and if i dont get in canada then USA is a back up plan..

can any body tell me if you do for sure 30 out of 50 questions and rest are marked , what is the probability of me getting a good score

hey lion congrats man! i would be happy even to pass.great achievement,keep it up.
when did u get the result? i mean what time? my oasis page is still updated for may 20th.
can u please tell me where in oasis is the score reported?

at the top in owaisis it says electronic report and gives the details of the details of the results

hi lion,
thanks for the reply.
when i open the oasis,on left there are options of which score report information is one.
the problem is when i open the option it is blank and says-Information current as of: 20 May 2008.
so why havent they updated my information as of today?
i might sound silly but if u can then please try to explain.
