Do you think it's better to start by Step 1 or Step 2 CK ? That's really a confusing point to all of us including me !! I mean what's the best order to achieve high score in both steps ( not to lessen the time or ease the preparation ) .. You have to explain why ?? Personal experiences are welcome.

step-1 -----> step-2 Personal Exp. Felt like it helped a lot.. What do you know better? Basic science subjects or clinical subjects at this point? If clinical, then go for step-1 first.

there is a reason why is called step 1......because should be taked first.......those steps are a sequence, one prepare you for the next.......that's what i think based on my personal experience

@ deja_vu : I think you're right, but what happens if you're not sure if you're more good in basics or clinical, do you think still step 1 comes first ? @ grechita12 : thanks man for sharing, what about your scores ? I hope others will be sharing their experience soon, cuz this is supposed to be a hot topic for usmle newbies
