hey guys..
i just took the step one test !
i am so glad its over. phew!
i just wanna thank you guys for this great forum! whenever i had any querry of doubt , i always got my aswers here!
studying alone for the exam can be real tough but this support forum made it a lot easier and even fun!!!!
...... great going y'all!

hey rida...
the test was ok.....its not as bad as i was scared it would be.
if you are planning on taking the step any time soon, i suggest you take the usmle mock exam ...it is really a very accurate reflection of how the real test is, and will give you a fair idea of the level of questions asked in the step 1 exam! smiling face

Hi Dr. Patel !
I am an IMG , started preparing for Step 1 a month back . Plan to take it in September. do u think its enough . what do u suggest? how much time u took , plz guide me, thanks .

Would u please tell me should I buy 2004 edition of FA I read 2002 edition so far..

What did u do..?? Please reply...

Also at last one month period left ..what do you suggest to do...

hi drkalsam...
i suggest you either buy the 2004 edition or borrow it from someone and add extra stuff to your old 1st aid.
i had bought the 2004 edition as i didnt have time to add on the new stuff.
its a great book and i strongly recommend you read it atleast 3 times!
i also recommend that you take the usmle mock test that the ecfmg offers in their prometric centres.... the questions are a very good reflection of the actual test and also you will get a 'feel' of the centre environment.

i took the kaplan live lecture and then studies for 4 months .
i think you have enough time...
get going...study around 8 hours a day
good luck...and happy studying!!! :wink:
