no is not time saving they're permanently changing it to 48 q's per block.. the high influx of test takers will mean that scores will come back by mid-july still i dont think it's saving time, b/c if u think about it, it's on computer, it shouldnt even take them so long to score it, b/c it's multiple choice, but watever, they do wahtever they do!! that's why i was pushing to take my exam by tuesday, bc the ecfmg email said that starting may 15 (tomorrow) they would start the video/audio clips and that most likely in may there will be mix of people with 350 versus 336 ques.. it shouldnt affect anything that much, just 2 ques fewer per block.. dont stress over it, just study hard and get those 336 rite, maybe all my complants of running out of time worked, hehehe.. tho yesterday i had time left over in every block, hmmm... who knows!!

So, they decrease the number of questions... what about the time...if time is the same then we have more seconds to make a right click or may be video-clips will take more time...anyway there is going to be only 5 videos if any ...it will do nothing...
I'm sick of studying... I just want to pass with 76...and i would be happy.
sickness is coming, it is overhelming, and it is so nice outside...I want to SCREAM...

no the video/audios are actually easier i think, u can figure them without it, unless they've changed it, i had them on ck, i didnt mind them, hehe.. i think it's just to make people who are anxious more anxious, i was one of them but it didnt make me that anxious, hehehe.. but yes time stays same, so u do have more time per question... i har ya man on the just pass, hehe.. after mine yesterday, ugghh!! when is u exam buddy?? good luck for whenever it is, just breathe and grind it out, it's almost over, be patient and dont blow it all now, u've worked too hard thus far.. keep it up, go thru that FA (the main regret i have) and do those nbme's, they hae similar type questions.. that's all i can advise, hehee...

I hope to take it during summer time. Still a lot to study. I don't want to spend years in preparation that's for sure. Time is running...
Thanks and keep us posted with your progress. I am still have kind of feeling that you are pretty much safe, some times you just trust your instinks when you don't know the right answer... will see your oncoming result.

Just got news that in May-June 2008 there is going to be 336 questions instead of 350 on step 1...not in every test... they are talking about huge number of exam takers in this time...so i guess this has something to do with time saving...
