Hi everyone...today i received my scores...Hurrah...its 99/244.
it makes u feel happy but dont know how much it will help me to achieve residency in US.
still lot of hurdles to b crossed....but it gives confidence that the beginning is great.
Still very excited....now readying myself for step2 CK/CS.
have visa interview on 28th may.....thats seems to b the biggest hurdle.
BEST of LUCK to all exam-goers...will b happy to answer any queries from anyone preparing for step1.....study hard n enjoy urself harder.

thanks....i had not given nbme...my uw world score was 68%....i had done random q from the start....at the end i was able to re-read explanations of only about 1k q.....i did uw, first aid n just general reading of all the subjects.

thank u all for ur best wishes....will write about my experience in a day or two.....one advise to all is that study hard n play hard...cliche!!!!....but very true....its important 2 enjoy the gruelling process n maintain a balance b/w study n funtime

Congrats for the great score..can u just tell us the approx. number of Qs from each subject? what i heard is that most s r pathophys...but about how many form biochem. microbio? anatomy( thats my weakest ) pharma.?? thnx for your reply and wishin u the best for your next steps to the residency in U.S.

its hard to tell the no. of questions from each subj ....some q were straight forward....many q were covering 2-3 subjects..i was strong in pharma buended up doing quite a bit of q wrong.....the q i did wrong were( i could recollect a few)

1. mech of action of dapsone

2. side effect of ropinirole- it was a clinical q in which pt. had episodes of sleep while driving.

3.light microscopy slide on MCD- i got it wrong

4.immunologic therapy
of kawasaki disease.

5.i got a few q on genetics wrong.....
