sorry to hear that.... first thing is don't lose heart, don't give up.... i've been there and i know its not easy to accept or deal with, just start reviewing all over again.... i would recommend goljan audio, first aid (or medessentials), and a good question bank (qbank or uworld) then review, review review until your certain that you can reproduce this stuff on the exam.... don't just memorize, try to understand as the stuff on exam is presented in a different manner than what we may be used to.... (by the way, i'm still at question bank and review, review, review) gl and feel free to ask questions here, there's a good group of supporters

You are not along... It is hard now but you will feel better soon. Take a deep breath and start all over...and it is going to be more easy for the 2nd time. Look at your score report and try to concentrate on your weak areas. You can do it! Good luck!

the newest books can't guarantee anything either dear, u have to focus on questions and watever info is lacking in those books can be fond in questions, make sure u do qbank, uworld, and if need be do usmlerx, which will reinforce ur first aid, and make sure u do that first aid a lot, so much info is in that book by itself!! if u didnt do goljan please make sure u do that, and this should set you up for a new fresh successful start and u will reach u goals dear, just dont give up! what all did u use last time, and how were ur nbme's?? if you did well on those, then it's not a knowledge problem, perhaps it's an axiety issue, i have dealt with that forever, its horrible b.c we know the material but we can't get the rite answer! so i have been there, but u can get thru this, just believe and u will succeed!!

I agree with Hottie. Do't buy new books... they are pretty much the same. Better spend your money on Q-banks.
