can anyone tell me more about whether or not step1 exams will have videos? where to get these partice videos from?

You can find the info on ECFMG or USMLE site ... the Orientation CD can be found on the USMLE site. GL

A small number of multiple-choice items with associated audio and/or video clips will be introduced into the USMLE Step 1 Examination beginning in mid- to late May 2008. No more than 5 items with associated media clips will appear in a single examination. The 2008 USMLE Orientation Materials include a small number of multiple-choice items that contain exhibits involving audio and/or video clips. Instructions for practicing with items with associated media clips on Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3 are provided in the Tutorials for each Step examination in the orientation materials.

 I have my exams on Aug 25th and till now i havent received any orientation CD. Do we have to aply for that seaparately?? Some others who applied with me too didint get it!!! Has it been cancelled?? Also any place where samples are available other than the usmle website??

I didnt get the cd either.. But from what i know, all that material is easily downloadable from the usmle.org website..there's nothing extra in the CD... Click here
There are 3 sample questions with videos, in the orientation material.. And those are pretty easy.. If thats the kind of questions that're gonna be on the real exam, I dont think we have much to worry about,, Moreover, the videos just confirm the answers that you pro'lly already would know after reading the question..
