elevation of testis relieves pain in epididymitis and not in epididymo-orchitis

  #4

You got it wrong hir. Elevation of testis relieves pain in epididymoorchitis and worsens it in testicular torsion... not used to D.D between epididymitis and epididymoochitis

In epididymitis epididymis will be swollen as a nodular mass separate from the scrotum...pain is usually less severe and scrotal edema is infrequent
Epididymo orchitis presents as acute pain in entire scrotum with or without scrotal edema or secondary hydrocele associated with fever and tenderness over testis... Doppler USG is diagnostic..orchitis is seen as hyperechoic region due to increased vascularity
