what do we put down in the duration of stay in the US? Is it 1 year or 3 years? I'm confused because our sponsorship is yearly but the entire duration of training is 3 years

If you're being sponsored , put 1 year. However, you'll be extending your program annually and will have no problem - you'll just get a new DS2019 every year that will reflect extensions to your program.
