8 yrs back a student enters into a medical college with bright colors in his eyes.over the time he start loosing the interest on his course & profession.slowly he lost confidence in him self.he became very average student, without much hopes on his career.he seriously thought of career shift.................but finally decided to stick on with his current profession.
started preparing 4 the boards, who initially was confident of getting good score.... ended up getting a score of 87\211 in step1.there r genuine reasons to complain to his low score in step1...but nobody want complaints,everybody want results...even he wants the same!!
he started prep 4 step 2 with a little confidence& much confusion.his aim was to score nothing less than 99 in step 2 .he tried harder to forget his lowscore in step1.but it is still playing on his mind even after 9 months.he is about to take the exams in 2 months from now and nothing going so bright for him even now.he is scoring only 57% in UW!! but he still seriously thinking of getting 99.....
HE is ME!!!
watch this space for my two month journey.....i welcome valuable suggestions by the forum members.

Hi men1, wish you the very best in your journey toward 99. I'm sure with determination and hard work you'll do it. Step 1 is passed and done  . Now focus solely on this new challenge and you will definitely ace step 2. My goal as well is to get a 99 so let's help each other. Best of luck!

Hey men1,
I read your words and I find lot of my self , just for the exception that I'm preparing for my 1st step yet [ step-2 ck],
but the same lose of interest is around me every were, may be because in my country when you graduate and enter practice life you realize that they didn't teach you anything, and that you need to start learning from the very begining....,
any way, I don't want to add to your sad words, but only want to tell you that it's never too late, and that you're limited only by what you think, and if you think you can do it then you will..., so forget about what happened , and forget about step-1 , and just remember one thing, that you have an upcoming exam and you need to brove to yourself that you deserve the best.....,

nany,you didn't talk too much!! more u talk more the love u r showing on me!!
so u too have the same experience with our profession.so together we could blame it on our profession. i saw ur thread....it's nice too.so when r u planning to take ur step??
i have a good advice for u..."never take chance with ur first step aim for 99, only for 99.that will boost ur morale for the next steps that u take.ur improoved confidence after getting one good score will do world of good to u while preparing 4 the other steps"
what i am telling is 'dont do the mistake that i did'.....very simple right!!

hi nica.......i am focussed on my target right now.but cant say i am 100% confident of reaching my goal.dont call me pessimist though!!
i need some solid proof(like scoring 99 in NBME) that say i prepared well.hope i get it.

and thanks for visitng my thread [ although I don't have much energy to write in it much these days, I communicate with my friends through their journals ]....
I'm planning to take my exam in Jult Inshaallah, but I can tell you that it has been long long time preparing for this exam cause I sisn't have the exam fee with me, now when a friend helpem me with it and I'm finally getting to the test..I don't have any energy at all to study and read...,
hope we can all motivate each other in this forum to reach our goals, and fullfill our dreams .....,
