Hi everyone, I have some questions related to the step3. First, what is the percentage of ccs score composes the whole test score? Second, how long does it take us to get the score? Third, do we get the result by email or mail? Any reply will be appreciated.

I dont know the ans to the first ques: for the next 2, try the following link http://www.fsmb.org/usmle_scoring.html what it says is the following: Score reports for the USMLE Step 3 are usually made available within three to four weeks after your test date; however, delays are possible for various reasons. You should allow at least eight weeks to receive notification that your score report is available. Effective August 15, 2007, score reports are no longer mailed. Please be sure that you have included a current email address with your Step 3 application as you will be notified by email that your score report is available. You will be required to access your score report through the Candidate Website and print the score report from the website. General information on how USMLE Step 3 is scored is available from the USMLE score reporting website. Hope this helps. GL

Took just under 3 weeks to get my results. Scores are released on Wednesdays, so it may depend when during the week you take the exam as to how long it will take. I took mine on Wed and Thurs. No idea how much the CCS portion contributes, or even how it is scored.
