@Tiff well, i can recall that due to CHF, there is inc. hydrostatic pressure in the pulmonary arterioles. the transudate oozes out of the vessel and it stimulates the J-receptors--they activate teh pain pathway---i dnt have a clear concept but all written is what emphasised by Dr. Gljan 00 i hope i dint mis-interpret him!-----
