I have completed 18% of the UW Qbank by now. My average score is 54%.

I tried several ways of approaching the long questions properly but have not found out the easiest and most efficient yet. It takes too much time in my case.

Would anyone give me a hint how to work through such long questions as there are on Step 2/UW in the MOST efficient and time-saving way?

Thanks a lot!!

Different things for different people...for me 2 things helped

read the final question first...meaning the last line....so u know what to look for in the when u read the ques and dont have to re-read it...

use the highlighter option to highlight what is pertinent to the case...like the mportant points...like in a long case obviously describing lymes u wuld highlite points like ticks, penicillin allergy etc...relevant points, which as u read the question help u form a diagnosis

also as u read the options go from first to last deliberately thinking 'can this be the ans--if not why' and then if u decide no strike it out so that u dont waste time coming bak to it

that worked for me so i thought I should sharesmiling face...all the best...anyways with practise u will speed up too

read first options given ,it will give u idea about what Question ask eg ( names of antibitoics , pathophysio, syndromes names, actions to take place ((barium ,CT , delivery )) ) then read last line and then start read from first
