hi jaguarprince, i tested on may 8th and got my results just now.

i scored 190/77, and im not sure where to go from here... i mean... does having a 70s score still have a chance on getting matched? what are the possible options dats available.

does anybody have experience on going thru the match with these scores. how did the interviews went like? I know its still a passing score but it felt like a death sentence.

Dear downey,
all i can say is i have friends who got matched this year with scores like these. As we cant change the score so better be optimistic.

Congrats Jaguarprince...

downey-bodies:

Have u taken yr CK yet?

If NO...then that's yr chance...try yr best there...see what went wrong and improve on them...take CK only when u r happy with yr NBME result....etc...there are so many tips u can find out abt to score high...It is possible for anyone to score well in these exams...just requires 100% dedication...

If YES and not happy with yr score...work on yr CV...find abt that in MATCH support section...

I know how you feel...but plz do not lose hope...if you really want to do residency in US, just be determined to get one no matter what...

Keep in touch

congrats jaguarprince. i got mine also, got 205/85.

I did look for tips here before taking step 1. I did FA, Kaplan and UW. I guess there was a lot of distractions around me, relatives, family, illnesses etc.

I haven't taken my ck yet and yes i would really like to prove that i can do better than step 1. this time ill get my act together.

Thanks jaguar and study for ur encouragement! I feel i have the drive again to study. I get my inspiration from the movie "the pursuit of happiness". This is just a minor setback that i will recover from grin
