Hi everyone, i gave my exam on 7th of may and currently feeling misearble. I managed to sleep for 5 hrs before the exam but felt very tired when i reached the centre (in london) which is almost 90 mts of journey time. saw a few anxious guys around in the test centre and by relating with them i felt lil comfortable. I had 5 to 8 minutes of time after every block and i used this to revise my marked questions(which were answered) eventhough i wasnt able to revisit all of them. i might have marked wrong for 5 to 10 silly questions which i could recollect. 10 percent of questions were sure shot and remaining of them either a guess between two choices and atlest 5 percent of the questions would have been over the top. Now that i have to go through this frightening four weeks, I feel anxious thinking about the exam, feel like i may fail.Dont know whether most of you feel the same, do u? thought sharing my experience and anxiety over here may help.

Good luck and try to relax I think all feel the same when we finished some important test in our live so don't worry about that. Try not to think in the test any more and have a good time while you receive your score.

wish you all the best for score. thw waiting period is the worst time in the course of USMLE.... i know exactly how you must feel.. and i suggest you try to relax now coz worrying will not help you in any way.... i know its easier said than done, coz i too was fretting a lot until my score came, but still my advice is the same... try to froget step1 now.. think of good things in life, have fun;. GOOD LUCK

hi! i gave a try for step 1 last may 7 too, only here in new york. im also having this anxiety for the long wait for the score. my experience though was that i find the exam easy. the thing is, because i was too nervous and i kind'a anticipated the exam to be hard i couldn't think straight, nor recall from the back of my mind the answers to those easy questions. but they are right, thinking about it so much wont help. every time i will find myself thinking about the exams, and those questions that were clear give aways and yet i did not get it, i tell myself, my faith is bigger than this exam. that keeps me sane, at least i have something to hold on and believe while waiting. well, good luck to both of us and to all those who gave their exam that week.
