Question to those applied twice

I will be applying once again for the match. What I wanted to know from people who have applied twice is that if your aamc id remains the same or does it change. I ask coz I've heard that second time applyers dont need to submit their mspe and transcripts again.

any input appreciated..............

call ecfmg & ask them if they won't have an answer they'll connect u to eras department & tehy'll answer your question....ecfmg # is2153865900

your aamc number remains the same. some of your documents like dean's letter and transcript will also already be with them so you dont need to send those again. however, if you do return of document you can then re-send your old references in case you cannot have new ones written for you. if you waived your right to see the references, they will not return them to you. all the best.

So now if I request the RODS....which i have...... I guess they have sent the transcripts back. So does my aamc id change now or can they still upload the transcript from their system.

your aamc id does not change. you will pay for a token from ecfmg as usual. then register at aamc. your old number comes up. all your old info will be there. as for ecfmg, you will have to ask about the transcript and dean's letter if those were sent back because i dont remember what happens when you do RODS. i did not do it.
