what is the oasis trick?? i keep hearing about this.....but have no clue as to what it is

Hi Sophia
I've heard that 4-6 weeks after taking the exam would be an effective time to do the trick. Anything before that, and you'll probably get an "already registered.." message, meaning that basically your results are not in yet.
To curel:
The oasis trick helps you find out if you've passed by going on the oasis and trying to re-register for step 1. If you have passed, supposedly the system will tell you that you cannot register for the test since you've already passed it. If you have felt, it will allow the registration to continue. The trick is that you have to wait at least 4 weeks after the exam to try this.

I did everything they said - yes scores were posted, etc. It still let me start registering. 3 days later I got my scores back and I passed.

ok...maybe im retarded, but what is oasis? when i registered to take step 1, it wasnt thru oasis,....it was thru nbme and sylvan learning center.

afer it was reported
it was reported on 21st april
infact 3 people whos escores were reported on 21st they are also able to register themselves
please help
