HI everyone, I started studying on monday ( my exam is in july), and I did ok on the first day but then it went down hill from there on. I could only do maybe 4hrs if iam lucky. And with the exam in july I can't afford to be wasting time, but I can't seem to get motivated, my brain just shuts down after 4hrs. I wonder if taking a review course would help?. Iam in serious need of advice. I feel so lost, especially since all the people I know are taking review courses ( which are sooooooooooooo expensive) thanx I appreciate all da inputs I can get

Maybe studying at a library helps if u r not already using one... u can do it dear good luck

You have got to stay motivated otherwise you will slip.....just remind yourself of this sentence everytime you get off motivation. Just relax...you have just started...In the beginning this will happen several times. Eventually a time will come when you will be studying everyday regardless of what happens. So, dont give up. And I dont think taking a course will help that much. It only brings you unnecessary competition which at times could make you feel insecure when you see that your classmate is able to get through and you havent gotten through so much stuff. So, dont watch others. Study for yourself at your own pace and relax and enjoy life. If you need a break take it. If you want to study study. If you want to sleep sleep! At all times ask yourself " Do I really want this?" And if your answer is "yes" you WILL study!!!! And if your answer ever changes to "No" then there is no point taking the exam and you are out of the system...and you would be better off using your precious time and energy doing something else. So, thats how I keep myself motivated. Just tell yourself that "If I am going to do it it will be 100% devotion otherwise there is no point doing this at all!:.

hey gy, review course is good sometimes just for a boost, u get motivated by seeing others in u same shoes i felt it was a huge help!! dependson person u know! but if u feel u are in slump, and can take the course, take it in my opinion b.c it will help to get u started at least.. sometimes it is hard even if u have videos and such, the give u a good starting point and since u have ides and such it will be easy to do reviews with u own videos.. so that is my pov, anyways, good luck!!

hey guys, thanx for the motivation, I loved those youtube videos. I think I was disappointed cuz I thought I would be able to start right away with 8hrs/day. I didn't expect to be taking babysteps. I will just have to keep trying harder each day, I also found a study partner to go to the library with as of monday so hope that helps. Aight, keep on trying all and remember that: The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination. peace
