I'm in terrible shape for the last year I've been trying to prepare for the CK, but when ever I take a sample test I fail
I'm trying to memorize the information in the kaplan books. Do you guys have any advice on what else to do? I postponed my exam so many times it's getting depressing. Currently scheduled for June 1st but not sure if I will keep it there.
I did the nbme a form 1 a while back and got a terrible score 350 does anyone know where I can find answers and the reasoning behind them?

I started those questions recently. There hard. Should I concentrate more on the information given in the answers. Or the kaplan books.

you said you went over kaplan notes many times, now my advice is to concentrate on UW and cause you said it's hard, then you're not prepared yet...., you should go over it and study the explainations well and practice it as much as you can and I'm sure every thing will improve Inshaallah...., just giove it a try and you wont lose any thing..., all the best of luck

Thanks, for the advice. I concentrating on UW now. The explanations really help. I now realize that devoting so much time to kaplan was a waste. Hopefully concentrating on UW will gave a huge boost to my knowledge base.

hey, I just to say 2 things... don't say Kaplan is a waste... only very few people have passed studying only from UW bank... Kaplan and UW are very good, you need both. I am also using The USMLE Step booster, I talked about it earlier, here is a link to the post: http://www.prep4usmle.com/forum/thread/70990/ maybe it will be good for you. just keep studying and don't worry, you have enough time to get a better score on NBME, plus they say that it's not very accurate.

By waste I meant I devoted more time to it then I should have. I should have allocated more time to UW then I did Time to see if I can correct that error. Thanks for the support and advice, hopefully In a few weeks time I will be posting good news
