i was hoping someone could help me...i wanted to take one or two nbme exams before my step 1 at the end of may. so far i know form 3 is the toughest, so i was planning on taking that instead of 5 or 6. i was wondering if anyone had taken form 5 and/or 6 and could tell me how it compares to form 3 or 4. i took 4 last month.
basically, is it worth taking forms 5 and/or 6, or should i just take 3.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

could someone who has taken forms 5 or 6 please reply...i just want to know if taking 5 or 6 is worth it since form 3 is the toughest. i probably only have time to take 1 more nbme exam, so if someone could please give me any information, i would really really appreciate it.

I have been informed that forms 1 and 3 are the best predictors. Hope it helps.

i took form 5 and 6, essentially for practice of the questions, i got descent scores but agian i haven't done othe forms in long tim, so wanted something new so it wasnt inflated.. form 3 is a lot of molecular/neuro, i felt same for form 5, and form 6 is random stuff as well, forms 3-6 are all subj in chunks, like 4 cardio ques, then like 8 renal, then like 3 obsgyn, like that.. so who cares, i just did them to get a better sense of how the questions will be.. other than that, i can just cram FA from now until my exam next week, so not much else i can tell ya buddy!! hope it helpd u!
plus this is my second time doing exam, and honestly i was telling lakshya same thing, that the real test is a mixture of all the forms, majority being form 1 and 2 b/c they ae each themselves a good mixture.. and u'll have handful of questions at diff level of rest of forms.. that just what i think.. i took exam last time without doing neuro bc i hate neuro, this time i have focused on it to best i can, and hope it will pay off, else i was close last time, and i honestly found that nothing will replace this last week of doing FA over and over and over... and this time i also did goljan few times, so let's hope it works!
