Did u listen kaplan DVDs? Please also guide me whether those have big role in preparation?
Did u read and make notes of every explaination from UW & kaplan Q Banks?

thx a lot guys...and thx for saying good things about my still unfinished book...I have never done Kaplan DVDs or any audio lectures...so I can't comment about them, neither good nor bad...I read every explanation (correct/incorrect) but just did 22 notes from Kaplan Qbank...didn't do any from UW...also did them one time, without returning to the same questions...and my dream is Radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Dr_drun --> well, writing a book appears to be a longer task than preparation for Step 2, so I think should be definitely ready before 2009, but not sure if i am done by september..

congratulations for the owesome score , may i ask you a question please ..?
i live in canada , i have just writen my medical council of canada qualifying exam ..
now iam prepairing for step 2 ck , in canada we only read the most important topics in the minors like (opthalmology we emphasize in glucoma for eg .....
do i have to memorize opthalmology and ENT and dermatology....etc deeply ?

I recommend reading Kaplan notes for those subspecialties...I think that should suffice...do all the notes, however...it's highly probable that you will get around 1-5 questions in each....so if you know it at least in minor detail, you'll get your answers correct
