A 54 year old man presents with complaints of shortness of breath, a sore tongue, and "pins and needles" sensation in his feet. Lab examination reveals macrocytosis, anemia and hypersegmented neutrophils. Antibodies to Intrinsic factor are detected in the patient s serum. Pernicious anemia is associated with the DR5 class II antigen; DR5 is also associated with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

MNEM for HLA-DR2...each has "two": Goodpasture- 2 systems (lungs and kidney), MS- 2 letters (M and S), narcolepsy: two sleepy...Maybe, someone can add something for allergy?

You need to know those things very well they ask about that frecuentl on the exam
will be some easy points if you know everyhting about that
