Hi evryone,

I am planning to take my step 1 roughly around August. I have just started studying, infact today is my 1st day. I have made a tentaive study plan which hope is gud enough and need ur input on it.

I plan to study for a period of 8 weeks. In the first week i plan to complete the whole of FA along with all the High-Yield notes for all the subjects. I think i am being a bit too optimistic but as i mentioned this is a tentative plan so ithat it keeps me on my toes.

In the 2nd week for 3 days i plan to solve questions from various books jus to see how much i know. The next 4 days i plan to give a quick review of FA for the 2nd time.

In the 3rd and 4th week, i plan to read all the kaplan lecture notes and particularly concentrate on weak areas.

In the 5th week again for 3 days i plan to solve questions. For the remaining 4 days i plan to give a quick review of High-Yield notes for all the subjects.

In the 6th week i plan to read other material like BRS for pathophysiology and MRS for micro and Goljans (which i am sure i will do once before when i am reading the kaplan lecture notes in the 3rd and 4th week).

In the 7th week, i plan to take 3 mock exams on 3 days with one day break in between each exam to review my answers and mistakes.

In the 8th week, i plan to work only on my key areas along with a bit of FA and HY.

Now bear in mind that i will be devoting around 6 hrs a day of study. So i hope that i will be able to stick to the schdeule.

So, wot do u guys think of this scehdule? Am i being too optimistic or jus plain dreaming or is this adequate. I technically have 5 months before my actual exam dates so the above mentioned is jus a 2 month schedule. I will follow the same with a little more time cuts in the next 2 months.

Please give me ur inputs on this ok.

I wud appreciate all ur help.

Best Regards,
Doc.
