Hi everyone

I have matched in to an H1b sponsoring Program. The program has hired a lawyer for me. The attorney has entered the date of employment as 2nd June 2008 to 1st June 2011.

Will there be a problem at the end of my residency? Should I ask the attorney to change the dates?

What are its implications on my fellowship visa.

Hi motorola when exactly did you sent the signed contract . are we suppose to send it to the program or our attorney.

Please help . what is the next step after signing contract and sending

to the program. i sent it about 15 days back. the attorney and your program coordinator should be able to guide you what the next step should be. you should post your questions to them or call them up to confirm that they have recieved your emails in case they dont respond !

Hi motorola ,

thanks for your reply . Can we take a visa date and keep .

H1 usually lasts 6 y as you must know and J1 for 7 y.

for J1, I know they give you this visa every year, you have to renew it yearly for those 7 years

so, maybe for H1 you have to renew it once on the 3rd year.

I'm just guessing.
