Hi all
I'm a 3rd year medical student and I would like to ask you if I can get observership in the US this summer or the next summer .
If not , will it be good idea to volunteer in any organization or association?
Another question :
How connections and green card could help in such cases ?

yes, It is a very good Idea to volunteer if you can not go for an elective
Go to the organization that meets your intrest. WHO has regional offices, if it's possible for you to go there, it would be a great idea!

You have many choices : Research, Volunteer and many other stuff that can improve your CV later
plus, it is possible to do an observership through exchange programs and IfMSA but it requires that you are in your clinical years>>> check with your medical student association
There are many of other options ,you'r still a student

hmm, why do I find simple thing difficult to answer!
A reseach is a study of a certain thing were you have an answer on hypothesis and you look for an answer to it either by analysis data or by experiment . the data are gathered either by checking old records or by destrbuting questionnare on a sample of people choosing by a specific way! i hope I made it simple. statistics, disease distibution, molecular biology and many things you study in school are the results of studies and researches.>> hope I made it simple
Try to contact one of your school proffessors in a feild of your intrest and ask him/her to assist in thier reseach.
If you are intrested in reseach in US , an not sure what are the requirement , perhaps you can search it up or maybe other ppl pver here can hel you
