well it is NON-Membrane assoc...then can not be cytoplasm, cuz in cytoplasm, u ll find processed and modified proteins in cytoplasm that are destinned to get to get incoorporated to memmbrane. These are not, so must be secreted, but then they are also dimers. Hence must be extracellular.
