I think thats a perfect plan. If you stick to it u'll be more than ready for the exam.
Simulate as much as possible. Which means u should get ur partner to may be act a lil bit and u should be smiling and offering emapthy at appropriate times. Also make sure u do a draping and a handwashing simulation every time.
And enjoy ur practice. Its fun.

i have practiced the cases from FA twice.. doin it for the third time now.
how does one do th epractice cases in UW?
how wud i recognise u at the cente?

uw i think just do the case while looking at chief complaint , then look at their q's and think of d/ds

time to be honest now
got to read uworld and first aid end to end.. good point is that it is taking less time than before and is making more sense..bad point is that how am i going to remembe so much?? and with more d/d addedto each case, i am taking more time..
patient notes-- my handwriting is awful , i don't type well . data compilation is not difficult if i have taken the case well, but the non-typical cases need attention.
SEP - OK but ifi practice 5-6 cases , in the end i feel as if i am forgetting english
ICE - i am following the protocols
counseling - good
d/d and investigations- can think of 2-3 best .. so reading first aid and uworld for it
history - m running out of time !!
two days before my feelingwas that i will fail..
today i feel i might pass orfail depending on how things go these remaining days
i pray to God to not send any distractions my way..
and i have to practise patient notes.. and live practice on someone

Hey, milee99:
During the test you'll be so alert, nothing will distract you. Remember to look at the patients eyes and pretend they are really sick and you are really helping them, and everything is going to flooow right! You are a doctor already, you know how to deal with patients. You are practicing to do the things the test demands, but you've got the basics for it long ago.

You are fine girl, don't panic, you got more than a week for this test so do your best these last days, practice and practice the cases and PN's , remember that some people only prepare a week and they nail it, you will do it too.

today i woke up late 
read through usmle orientation and watched all usmleworld videos for examination .. practiced typing few PN .. i am not so bad at typing as i thought!! plus , it makes easier to insert related things, so that PN looks organised..
well, i am still going to write my PN , but if the space seems too less, i will be ready to type as well..
yesterday before sleeping i read d/ds and mnemonics for 1 hr ..could not complete all, i will do that everyday now...
now for dinner, some practice, and some reading of uworld cases , must finish atleast sample cases today, and also first aid first 10 cases with related mini cases.

i postponed my step 1 so many times
there is a date available for cs also, but i just don't want to delay it..
can't wait to get over with all exams
even if that means slogging out a lot these days

good news.. i got neater with data gathering notes during patient encounter..
i will begin my day tomorrow with PN for last 10 first aid cases and cases practised today

too many plans .. and i don't even realise that the day is almost over..
guess just have to read mini cases nad call it a day now
7 days to go..
and i haven't yet read uworld once
ok
tomorrow i begin with two pn of the case i did today
then sample uworld cases.. maybe 4-5
then practise
then india calls
then practise
then 4 sample cases
then practice
then remaining sample cases
the practice live 8 cases
then first 10 first aid cases
write pn for 8 cases.. call it a day

Once you decide to type or write the PNs, you have to do it the same for all the 12 patients. I type very slowly, so I was glad I wrote down, because the other candidates typed so quickly and noisely that it would have gotten on my nerves! If I were typing, I would have felt I was racing against them (and losing, of course!).

Thanks ARLETE. Yes , i will write them all then.
I could not practice much ..
i have got sore throat and cough since so many days now.. only my hubby can tolerate my voice i guess..
when i drink hot coffee it becomes tolerable for 1 hr or so.
I hope it resolves before exam.
sometimes i feel i have somatization disorder  .. whenever time is critical for exam, i have some or the other health problem. 
ok so all my practice plans went boom all thanks to.
anyways.. i will continue reading and be prepared for the D/D. and investigations.

You still have time to shape up  and be ready for your test day, I hope you feel better about your sore throat, drink plenty of hot water, that always helped me
