Hi everybodywink

I will like to know what should I do first.
Share your experience with me and help me to find a good way to make this endless travel as painfull as possible ( and shorter)
Some people tell me to take the Step 2 first because is easier than Step 1 and I need a short time to study for it but I'm still not sure. On the other hand others tell me to do the Step 1 because is more difficult to pass. shocked
I really prefer something easy for my first steps into this crazy world of study for second time in my life.rolling eyes
I'll be waiting your testimonies. Thanks in advancesticking out tongue

I am done with both the steps and this is solely what I felt. You're always at an advantage while taking the second test (step2 after step1 or vice versa)
But taking step-1 before step-2 helped me a big time. As I was a fresh grad and having passed the clinical subjects (med, surg, peds etc) in recent past I had the basic CK (clinical knowledge). That way I didn't feel the need for step-2 before step-1. But when it was the time for step-2, I needed a lot of informations from the basic science subjects and you are likely to have forgotten those evenif you're fresh grad.
You are likely to be asked some CK-like Qs in step-1 ( I had few ) and Step-1-like Qs in CK ( I had few more). But they are mostly quite simple and straight forward. For me it was easy to manage CK-like Qs in step1(for example diagnosing Mitral stenosis or PE based on clinical features) but couldn't have answered easy path, biochem Qs without reading them in step-1 (like pathological findings in thyroid diseases, enzyme involved in common biochem diseases like Von-Gierke.. )
My penny...
