Hi everybody
I'm new in this forum and in this country too so I have many questions about all of this stuff.
First, can I take Step 2 CK before Step 1?
Where can I find the Step 2 CK Lectures Notes? In amazon are not available.
I need a lot of help.
Please advice me!!
I'm very confused and everybody says something different, besides they are always trying me to quit and I was a doctor in my country and I want to be a doctor again here.confused
I need some good experiences too. Maybe I'm asking too much but I can't find another positive sources besides you.
Thanks a lot, just for read.nod

hi didi2usmle, welcome to USA and to p4usmle ! smiling face

i'll try to answer some of your Q based in my experience:

1. yes you can do the test (1 2ck and 2 cs) in any order but i strongly recommend you to do the step 1 first, because is harder, it's much material and gave you the base to the next.

2. you should try on : www.ebay.com (thay have an option called "buy it now" on some items so you don't have to bid) other site is www.718auctions.com

3. always you'll find somebody trying to make you quit...don't listen to them (believe me is part of the process).....let you guide by your instincts and by your dreams....whit only one thing in mind : you ARE a doctor..... you can't work as a doctor here (for now) but you ARE a doctor and you always gonna a be a doctor no matter where you are.....don't quit. It's not easy but it's possible wink

have a nice day.

by the way. where are you from?

Thanks grechita12 for your words and give me confidence. I'm from Cuba and my English is not very good, specially grammar but I can read very good in English. I'll try those websites for buy the books.nod
I was thinking in take the Step 2 first because almost everyone said it's easier than Step 1 and if I get a good score then the Step 1 will be a slight easier. I'm confused about that but I appreciate your recommendation.grin
And thanks for the welcome

Welcome i agree with the advise.Determination matters so be determined to reach your goal
so it is good to start with step 1
select highyield study tools
dont jump from study material to another
be programmed i know it is difficult but try to do your best
dont be confused with what people say no body can make decision for you ,They can advise you but when it comes to decision it is up to you.
Regarding English Yes it is important but as you go along with your studies You will set a time to improve your English by comminicating to people around you .You can make this part of your plan.
by the way i did medical school in Cuba .I am from Ethiopia studied spanish then joined medical school So my friend will make it cheer upnodnodnodnod
