45 year old man, dialysis, chronic renal failure, receives erythropoietin therapy, history of type 1 diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, well controlled hypertension,
exacerbation of which will occur

answer: hypertension

why not chronic renal infufficiency?

Erythropoietin increase the RBC mass----------->Increase viscosity-----------------> Peripheral vasculature more resistant ( TPR is directly proportional to viscosity of blood) -----------> Final event , exacerbation of Hypertension.

Correct me if i m wrong
