I would like to thank every one in this forum who shared their experiences with us....it was really helpfull for me. And of course .... I especially thank God for all this, everything is posible with God's support and help. and of curse your effort. I already started my step 2 prep and i would be glad to receive any advice from people who are more advanced in this large process and of course if possible i would give any advice i can, to help others to reach their goals. Good luck!! bye

Thank u very much mr.lonely For u hottie99, i gave a slight review to concepts i already knew over my last week....no more new concepts....just make my already known concepts more clear and available.....and i guess you were practicing questions so you keep training managing time that is going to be your biggest enemy next wednesday (this is extremely important...manage time!!!!) ....keep going with the questions....and FA......read behavioral science.....i've got my lowest performance in that and my exam had 3 to 4 behavoral science and statistics questions per block ....i didn't give importance to BHS but it can improve your score........one day before the exam.......relax.......i only reviewed pshysio and pharm formulas.....and little statistics(i should have reviewed more entire BHS) but i am happy with my actual score. ....... I didn't have time to review goljan, but many people told me that he's really great so if u have time do it! I guess that would be my advice to u and good luck!!!!

hottie99....yes i know that tiring feeling...but don't give up...you are so close....sleep well one night or maybe 2 nights before exam that's my advice....about cd, i can remember maybe a statistic question about positive predictive value and screening test diagram....and one about kinetics(bioquem)...very similar to real test....about neuro....i had lots of MRI's, know well nuero it was high yield on my exam...patients with some motor deficits...or sensory alterations and figure out where the lesion is...but you know there are so many different types of exams....mine had lots of MRI's and physio graphs....also graphs for pharm....experimental questions for inmuno.....for micro they give you more than enough clues to figure out the bug... About breaks....i took between 5 to ten minutes break after each block just to drink something eat some food brain (sweet food but little....keep your brain on) and breathe air.....but if you already took CK i guess time is not going to be a problem for u.... I would be glad to hear about your experience of CK....

hahaha.. well timing was rough for ck, i mean i didnt mind that test so much b/c it's clinically relevant, im no genius, but i passed it, so i was very happy!! it's just step 1 and it's crazy cellular crap or molecular junk and lesions in neuro?? ah well i'l try my best, i take breaks after each block, just b/c i had done practice questions at home and tried back to back blocks, the second block ALWAYS dropped, so when did ck, i took break, evne if only few mins, took break, swig of red bull, sugar candies to suck on during block (to get that glucose going to my brain) and then back to my exam.. seemed to work then, i will do same for this test, now im not worrying for timing so much as i am about just freaking out, i have tendency to do that immed before and start thinking they will ask so much impossible things, i just have to tell myself 'it is doable but difficult' over and over, and hopefully will do good.. who knows.. suggested site for mri's anyone??? i so despise neuro

Hi DIDI2usmle, Check out www.sell.com They have all the USMLE stuff usually for sale, usually for a decent price. Type USMLE in their search engine. Go for 2007 videos, I heard Micro is changed for the better, I think physio notes too.

THANKS ajmeru A great help. I found the books there, I think $400 for the 8 2007 books and 26 DVDs is a decent price, dont you? Maybe is a little expensive, what do u think?
