what is their origin ?

ligamentum tere=umbilical vein

i read that umbilical vein gives rise to falciform ligament :roll: (source is kaplan )

According to high yield anatomy, falciform ligament ventral mesentary

I AGREE with u all , but kaplan says that :roll:

the truth is :
Ligamentum teres --> umbilical vein
Falciform lig. --> ventral mesentery
you see it makes perfect sense, lig teres is like a tube that is sort of embeded within the ant border of Falciform lig. Anatomy!! :P
