Hi,,,took my exam on March 31st and I just got my score,,,91/219
studied for1 year on and off,,but 6 months serois study....Kaplan notes/kaplan Q bank/UW/ FA
took the NBME 2,4 and 5 and the rest from the downloaded forums.....
My exam was fair,,well distrubuted,,, alot of pharmacology and Pathology and alot of wierd wierd molucular biology and immuno
I got 500/219 on the new NBME 5 ,,2 days before the exam,,same score!!!!!!
well dont know what else to say.... Good luck everyone,,,Study hard and concentrate,,,the exam isnt so hard,,,it is doable......
The one thing i regret not doing,,,I didnt have time to go over the first aid well,,,didnt finish it all

Congratulations!
Don't be sad, 91 is a good score. Yes, it could be better, but ... still that is a good score.
question: What did you use for Pathology?

YARAB!!!!!!!!! aren't u excited girl!!!! im sooooooo happy for u!! glad it's over with, i had sent u im's but i think u busy now.. anyways, so glad girl!!! that is excellent, dont worry about other ppl sying their jibberish, it's all 'haters' hehehee.. im so proud of u!! glad u did well, now u will do even better on ck, trust me it is more fair, better ad more interesting! i hope u felt i helped and didnt harm u prep.. now back to my crap, 1 more week! ick!!

Congratulations!
How did you do your studies? kaplan first? for how many readings before you did questions? Did you take notes?

thx miki....for pathology i used kaplan notes but i listened to goljan audio twice and did his high yeild notes

thx luck,,,i did kaplan first then kaplan Qbank,,,,then UW and made notes from them,,,,added all my notes in my first aid so my last revision would be from one book...

By the way what is different from form 5 from the rest .
Did exm have lots that not in any way of facts even related one from kap , Q bank, UW , FA , golj audio ??

shwe,,,how is ur studying going????hope ur ewxam is soon,,,about NBME 5 :it has alot of molucular biology,,,and my exam was either easy direct Qs or wied Qs not from any souce I did,,,,hope that helps...good luck everyone,,,just study study study,,,and when u get tired just remeber how u want to feel the day u get ur score,,,so u will go back and study more,

Thanx yarab , study not bad , I also hope my exm is soon  U mean exm qs not exact qs fr any qs source or exm qs asking things not from any things facts concepts knowledge u studying for

for the books u will need kaplan books for prepration except goljan rapid review for pathology,,,after u finish u ur first read u will have to have a source of Qs....kaplan Q bank ,,,,and usmleworld is a must,,,,
for the aplication visit ecfmg.org and u will find everything u want to know..

yees FA is definitly a must in the last week,,,,especially if u add ur notes in it,,,,so all ur information u can get in one book in in the last week,,,cuz the biggest problem is memorizing ....and it hurts too much to not be able to answer somthing u know and u just forgot to review,,,,good luck
