but its esp. good for myoclonic seizures

Valproic Acid
Adverse effects:
CNS sedation Aggressivenes
EENT: diplopia
GI N/V diarrhea,pancreatitis.
Hemat: Thrombocytopenia,hemorrhage,leukopenia,bone marrow suppression.
Hepatic: Toxic hepatitis
others: weigth gain rash photosensitivity,neural tube defects.
