Hi arlete (cardio.) & others off course..

40y M
Retrosternal Chest pain episodes sicne 6-8 wks- feels pressure-like
Sometimes while sleeping occasionaly while climbing stairs
No relation to other kind of exersions
ECG- normal
Smoker, obese, HTN +, Family history + for CAD

What is it?

Angina or Reflux

I wouldn't rest my case until I prove it's not angina. I would go for a stress test and holter 24 h(CP while sleeping could be spasm - Prinzmetal).

Incomplete case

BTW what is this F/H + ?? fetal heart sounds ?grinconfused

Family history + (for Coronary heart disease) .. (Am I that confusing..?? Fetal heartconfusedconfused:eeksmiling face

Atypical angina but some risk of CAD -----> Threadmill : Diagnose and prognosis.
