@docdoc9: Thanks i am praying hard...believe me!
UW is a must Qbank to do and to master. The format is the same as the real exam and the content is highyield. My friend just used UW and kaplan notes and scored 99.
As you know the formula to study for these step is so personal...I wanted to do kaplan because i was hungry of questions and definetely it makes sense that it sounds beneficial to do a bunch of questions. Kaplan has a different approach definetely with a different format than the real test. It is very helpful though if there is time and money.

hi i'm sure u 'll get a grt score.
while doing UW what was your cummulative percentage and how did u do it subject wise/mixed?which is better?

@usmletopper2: I solved UW in a subject-wise timed approach as a study tool early in my preparation. The first time the cummulative performance was 68% and the second time it went up to 78-80%. It is better in mixed, timed style because it will force you to review many different topics at the same time but I don't want misslead you. I haven't get the real score yet...
@inkspot: Congratulations buddy for taking your test. Yeah, the fact that it was fun really worries me...Hopefullly i won't screw up, the only thing that gives me mental peace is the NBME i took one week before the test. Looking forward to read your experience.

@falcon: Thanks, I took NBME form 1, two months before the real test.
Third wednesday and no score reported yet...I even had nightmares about the score. It was very low

dont worry markus2009 with a score of 670 on nbme i am sure you will get above 95. just have some patience it will pay off. good luck with your score. hope you get a 99....

@srita: All Fischer DVDs (Cardio, Hemato and ID), Neuro, Endocrino, Nephro, Psyquiatry(all of them), Some chapters of OBGYN. None of surgery or PEDS.

markus: my 'big day' was last friday. i didn't post my experience because i had my baby sick at the moment of the test and she was sick until yesterday......so my experience wasn't so good. when i was taking the test i felt confident and secure, i was able to recognize some q from uw, i was calm and everithing was great, but immediatly i step off the prometric center and knew that my baby was in the hospital i forgot everything i did on the test and now i feel like i fail ....that's why you guys didn't heard from me after the test.....so, all can i do is pray and that's exactly what i'm doing

Congrats friend for getting the exam done. I am sorry to hear that your beautiful baby was sick. Hopefully She has that cute smile today. Will pray for your baby, us and everyone who is expecting scores.

Grechita: when I was preparing for step 2 CK, my second son needed a nephrectomy. If everything has a positive side, this kind of things makes us review our priorities.
Like somebody says around here: "There's more to life than the match!"
I hope and pray everything is better, now.
