Hi, I'm a mom with twin toddlers and it's been 3 years since I took step 1. What will you advise is good to study from step 1 notes again? I tend to study in a way that I understand the pathology and is hoping that that will carry me through (to not have to study step 1 again). Is there anything for step 2 ck that you suggest it important for me to go back and revise step 1 again? Thank you

There are not many Qs asked in step2 with the hardcore basic science content. Still if time permits and you'd want to revise step1, I suggest you to do systemic patho and pharmac (only clinical aspects like side effects, uses and clinically significant interactions etc) along with the systems in the medicine. No need to read biochem, physio, gen path, micro, immuno, anat. Behav.Sci totally overlaps with psych so you will read everything with psych. You may get some Qs from the above mentioned subjects but I felt it's not worth doing all that for just 5-10Qs (out of which you'll know 5-6 even without reading them again and you won't know 2-3 even after reading them. So not cost-effective). Good luck
