In BP follow up case,do we need to measure BP in both arms and in sitting standing and lying positions .wtss the exact protocol?

HTN FOLLOW UP AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT CASES r only cases where u need to meaure BP . esp in HTN follow up,meaure BP in both arms. Write down in pt notes , that u want to measure BP WHILE SITTING /STANDING/ STANDING to exclude orthostatic hypotenion ,that can be a side effect of antihpyertensive drugs.
