Well, I passed step2 ck with score 92/228.
I'll write here my study tips. It may be of benefit for those preparing for the exam.
I studied from Blueprints series, it is really a great and nice books but there is no great difference between it and Kaplan, in general books are not a big deal in step2 as they are in step 1 so don't bother you self by this topic, just get whatever you can get and start studying.
After I finished reading every subject I solved its mcqs from Kaplan qbook, then after finishing all subjects, I did Crush the boards in almost 10 days and I solved a lot of mcqs from kaplan qbank then i did the First Aid together with solving the USMLEWORLD qbank.
In general step2 ck depends more on solving mcqs and knowing the guide line of management rather than memorizing scientific facts about the diseases, so my advice to you is not to waste time in re-reading books but go ahead and solve mcqs as much as you can.

hi! i just finished my step1 last week. the thing is i cant wait for my result to decide whether to go on or not, coz i already have a sched for step 2ck, this aug. so obviously its a go-go-go for me for step 2 ck. for now my questions is what is mcqs? and thanks for the tips!

congratulations for the owesome score , may i ask you a question please ..?
i live in canada , i have just writen my medical council of canada qualifying exam ..
now iam prepairing for step 2 ck , in canada we only read the most important topics in the minors like (opthalmology we emphasize in glucoma for eg .....
do i have to memorize opthalmology and ENT and dermatology....etc deeply ?
